What is payroll software?
Payroll software, also called a payroll system, works out each employee’s pay and the statutory contributions and tax that go with it. It then produces the payslips and the files you submit to KWSP, PERKESO and LHDN. For Malaysian businesses that means EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB (also called MTD) every month, and the EA form every year.

Frequently asked questions
Does Synergy payroll calculate PCB?
Yes. PCB (MTD) is calculated for each employee, including TP1 reliefs and TP3 income from a previous employer, and exported as the PCB e-Data file for submission to LHDN.
Can I submit EPF, SOCSO and EIS online?
Yes. Synergy exports the EPF file and a combined SOCSO-EIS file for online submission, so you upload instead of re-keying every employee.
Does it produce the EA form and CP8D?
Yes. EA forms and the CP8D file are produced at year end from the payroll you have already run. CP39 is supported too.
Can employees get payslips by e-mail?
Yes. Payslips can be printed or e-mailed to every employee in one go.
Does it handle HRDF and Zakat?
Yes. HRDF levy is calculated, and Zakat can be deducted from salary.
Does it work without internet?
